The BBA in finance program prepares students for successful careers in corporate financial analysis, 投资, 金融机构, and all positions of financial decision-making in both domestic and international settings. 学生 majoring in finance develop an understanding of financial data and valuation, 金融服务业, 全球环境, and securities markets in the contexts of risk and return and decision making.

Outlook: According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, that jobs for financial analysts are projected to increase 11% for the 2016-2026 period. According to the BLS, financial analysts earned an average salary of $83,660 in May 2020.

The Future Bankers Leadership Program at 德克萨斯南方大学 prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and professional experience necessary to launch a successful career in banking industry. The Program comprises of three banking classes (9 credit hours), an intermediate accounting class (recommended) along with internship and professional engagement experience. Classes are conducted in a highly interactive manner with guest speakers from local businesses and banks.

The JHJ Investments Program should be of interest to all majors who wish to work in the securities or wealth management industry. The Program prepares students for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam which is a certification for prospective securities industry professionals such as Investment Company representatives (Series 6) and Professional Wall Street Brokers (Series 7). The Program comprises of three 投资 classes (9 credit hours) which are conducted in a highly interactive manner with guest speakers from 投资 and financial services firms.
